	   Although the exact date of Jesus’ birth is unknown, and the origin of Christmas remains a debatable issue, every year, we Christians following tradition, observe December 25 as the day to commemorate His birth. We do not have to be too concerned with the date and its origin, because even many non-Christians and atheists now celebrate the event with gift giving and social gatherings. Read more »

	   The preaching of John needs to be heard today as much as when he first proclaimed it. We need to confront and confess our sins as well as turn away from them in sincere repentance so as to receive God’s forgiveness and the gift of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. Repentance is a part of the very “foundation” of the true Christian faith, Hebrews (6:1). Read more »

	   Jesus was God in human flesh. Mary was a specially chosen woman to be the mother of Jesus Christ, out of the many women in the whole of Israel and, indeed, of the world. Joseph was a “just” or “righteous” man, Matthew (1:19). Yet, they humbly submitted themselves to all the Jewish customs and traditions of their day, even the laws, like any other ordinary people.
