Advent is a time during which we re-live our longing for God just like the chosen people, the Israelites did long ago. They waited for thousands of years for the first coming of God who came in the person of His Son Jesus Christ to redeem them and the whole of humankind. Read more »
Let us patiently wait for the coming of Jesus Christ as he has promised, whether the coming could mean at the end of ages or at the time of our death or while reading the scriptures or while praying or walking on the road and, at the same time cooperate with the Lord and do our part. Read more »
The apostle Paul was so moved by God’s grace, mercy, love and justices that he found himself travelling to many places in order to reveal this news to others. Like any gift we give to someone to express our care, intention, thought, gratitude or love, God has given us his Son Jesus Christ to reveal His plan and prove His love, grace, mercy and justice for mankind. Our faith journey began at baptism and continues to grow in faith in the God who is faithful. Our faith requires us not only to be convinced that there is God or to declare that we believe in God and that He is among us through the birth of his only begotten Son Jesus Christ. It also requires us not just to carry out some rituals to express our faith but also to act according to faith values and make decisions inspired by faith even in the midst of hardships, difficulties and distress.
