Our worries are different because we are really anxious only for people and things we care about. Sometimes worrying can prevent bad things from happening. However, excessive worrying can kill our appetite, make us sick, ruin our relationships and steal our peace. The amazing thing about worry, and we know this from experience, is that only a few of the things we worry about ever happen. Read more »

We may have some peace with less or no worries and anxieties, and we may have a little more peace because of our noble thoughts and good deeds but we can find true peace only through spiritual contentment. Read more »

During our times of hardships, trials and suffering we must remember that God is working in our lives, even in our darkest hours, to accomplish His purposes. We must not only believe that God exists, but also that He has the power to work through people whom He chooses to do His will. God selects people even from unknown land and faith, unworthy and ungodly persons to bring us the message of salvation. Read more »

The Lord reminds us of our duty to love our fellow human beings especially the poor, the strangers, the weak, the helpless, the marginalized, the vulnerable, the widows and the orphans in our midst. He wants us to show our care and concern for others just as He had commanded the Israelites. Read more »
