God is aware of our physical needs, and it is His delight to provide for His children. He does not ignore our suffering or the feeling of physical pain or hunger. In fact, God is more in tune with our needs than we are. He provides our physical needs without us even asking, just as He did with the crowd because we are far more important than birds whom God feeds without their labor, Matthew (6:26); Luke (12:24). When they asked him for this bread, Jesus startled them by saying, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”, John (6:35). Not everyone who listens to Jesus believes in Him. And not all who start to follow Him remain a loyal follower. Over the past two thousand years, hundreds of thousands of people have turned their backs on Jesus, walking away, dejected.
