When we face our trials alone, let us not grow weary or become discouraged and bitter or resentful; let us not isolate ourselves from the very people and religious ceremonies, prayers, and practices that would help get us through the hard times. The Spirit makes us children of God. As His children, we have an intimate relationship with our God the Father. We have the special privilege of speaking to Him and calling Him, "Abba, Father!" There are many, including Christians still with us, who believe that Jesus was just a wonderful man, or a moral teacher or great prophet or famous miracle worker, but He was not God.
